For several years I have been recording books and extracts for this fabulous charity based just down the road in Newbury. Living Paintings provide tactile books with audio descriptions to help enhance and transform the lives of blind and partially sighted people. They are always a joy to work with and their extensive library is a great resource. Here’s a link to just one of the projects I was involved with: Magical Worlds.
Audiobooks of course provide enormous pleasure for those who cannot read, as I know from experience within my own family. It was thus also a pleasure to have contributed several books to the Calibre Audio Library over the years – including some exclusive recordings – another great cache of audiobooks!
I am hoping to be able to do the same for the RNIB over the course of 2023, having recently been included on their panel of narrators.
